Click the thumbs for full-size views of a Fourth of July well spent: Joe Tucker caught the big brown held by his guide, Joe Spencer, on May 5, 2014 (click the pic), Cinco de Mayo was a great day to be fishing the Watauga River, judging by these pics.   The Watauga River is a tailwater trout fishery located in the upper Northeastern corner of the state of Tennessee near the little town of Elizabethton. Their bravery was rewarded with bunches of trout (including the double pictured here) from the Watauga and South Holston rivers. Click the thumbs for full-size views of some more of Ken's Watauga River success story: Unusually, this hatch occurred on sunny days (albeit chilly), just adding to the pleasure of the moment.
